What’s New from Ziptrak® at SuperExpo 2026
Ziptrak® has just wrapped up its showcase at SuperExpo 2026 (10–12 June, Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre), where the brand took to Stand G2 as a Gold Sponsor to reveal its newest outdoor and interior blind innovations.
As a Sydney-based Ziptrak® retailer and installer, we always keep a close eye on what’s coming next, because the better the system, the better the result we can deliver for your home or business. Here’s a rundown of the highlights and what they could mean for your next project.
New for Outdoor Living. A new Cable-Guided blind system
Ziptrak® introduced a Cable-Guided blind system that opens up where outdoor blinds can go. Because it requires only minimal structure to install, it suits a much wider range of spaces, and you can choose how you operate it: motorized, crank, or assisted crank. It’s also built with a compact, low-profile design and rust-resistant components, so it holds up well outdoors.
The Joiner System for large openings
Big spans used to mean cranes, center poles, or simply “it can’t be done.” The new Joiner System lets large blinds be delivered in smaller sections and assembled on site, no crane required, and no center poles interrupting your view. It’s ideal for wide openings and hard-to-reach installations.
Australia’s first fire-safety certified blind system
This one is a genuine milestone. The Ziptrak® and Nolan Performance Solution is the first blind system in Australia to achieve fire-safety certification for multi-story balconies and façades (passing ISO 13785-1:2002 testing). For apartments, high-rise, retirement villages, and anywhere strata approval is involved, that certification can make all the difference.
Ziptrak® also previewed a number of developments on the way, including:
- Pro-Spline – a next-generation spline that delivers a sharper, more uniform finish, a slimmer profile, and smoother operation, without sacrificing the strength and wind performance the brand is known for.
- A redesigned top tube system – for greater stability, a more secure motorised experience and better long-term durability.
- A new tensioning tool, designed to make spring tensioning faster and safer (and, in many cases, a single-person job).
- An integrated lighting system, an optional add-on built into the blind, so you can keep enjoying your outdoor space well after sunset.
New for Interior Blinds. USB-C charging
A small change that makes everyday life easier: the new USB-C charging solution works with all USB-C motor brands and features an easy front-access design, making it simple to top up your motorized interior blinds.
A better way to choose
Ziptrak® also showed a portable display and demo unit that lets you see and operate the blind in person, making it far easier to picture how it will look and feel in your own space before you commit.
